How much does it cost?
Membership is paid for on a monthly basis. The first month is £24.95, and every month after that is £21.95
How long do I sign up for?
You sign up and pay for membership one month at a time. There are no contracts, but like every organisation, there are Terms and Conditions that we will go through with you when you join.
How do I pay?
You can pay by card, cash, or bank transfer, once a month.
Is the first session free?
No. Your first session is part of your first month.
Is there a joining fee?
No. Your first month is just £2 extra on top of the regular monthly membership fee.
How do I join?
You can text the mobile number on this website to book a place, send an enquiry form by email from the contact page, or just turn up at your chosen meeting. We suggest you contact us first though.
What happens in a group meeting?
You get weighed and your information is confidential. The Group Mentor will lead a motivational session where everyone can share hints, tips, ideas and support. We have a raffle and serve tea and coffee etc.
Do I have to buy anything?
Absolutely not. All you need is you and a means of keeping track of what you eat. Having a smartphone, iphone, ipad or tablet will be extremely helpful so you can benefit from the 'app' we suggest you use.

We do not sell recipe books, sales, slimming products or anything like that. The only things you need money for are the raffle and your monthly membership.
What do I bring to the first meeting?
Bring yourself, your payment, and an open mind! We want to get you in the right frame of mind with a positive mindset so you can have a great start during your first week.
What should I wear?
Something that's comfy and perhaps you'd like to wear every week. This means you don't have to worry about a change of clothing affecting the reading from the scales.
Do I get measured?
No. We don't measure you, but we encourage you to do it in your own time and space. Some weeks you might find you have a 'non-scale' victory by having looser clothes instead of the scales showing a loss.
Do I get weighed?
Yes. You will get weighed using the same set of professional scales every week. The information is kept confidential.
What kind of support will I get?
You can have as much or as little support as you feel you need. Attending the group meetings are really beneficial in terms of motivation and thinking positively about your future success, not to mention the reality of experience in the room from other members who have probably felt the same as you and have faced similar challenges. This can't be recommended highly enough.

You also have access to your dedicated mentor between meetings, and we have a very lively private facebook group just for members with something new every day, from quotes, meal ideas, support from mentors and other members.
I'm a wheelchair user, can I still join?
Yes, of course, we'll do everything we can to include you. Just get in touch by text, email, facebook or the contact form on this website, and we'll take it from there. We'll give as much support as we possibly can.
What if I don't do facebook or Instagram?
You still have a couple of choices. You can attend weekly meetings, which are the best and most effective way to give you meaningful and face to face support. You have access to your dedicated Mentor by phone if you have any questions or need some support and motivation. We're here for you all the way, not just for the 1 hour at the weekly meetings.
What if I'm not online, no email, nothing?
By attending a weekly meeting, you will soon get the hang of keeping track of your food and drink intake. Nearly everything has calorie information on the packaging which you can use to keep track in a notebook, or even the purchase of a calorie-counting book might be useful for you. We're here to help, so just get in touch and we'll find a way to get you started and on your way to a happier and healthier future.
